I understand through Darrel Clark that you have requested a letter
regarding the occupancy status for 137 Mississippi Place N.E. It
is my understanding that the Anoka County Community Action Program
is leasing the property from the Department of Housing and Urban
Development. I also understand that you intend to rent the units
to women and women with children as part of the transitional
housing program.
Prior to occupancy, a rental license must be approved through the
licensing year of August 31, 1992. ACCAP will also need to renew
that license prior to August; the Fire Department will send you a
new form in July. Please complete the rental license application
and submit it and the fees to Sherree Smith as soon as possible.
I have also reviewed the file and determined that there are no
other outstanding issues regarding this particular property.

Dear Steve:
The property located at 137 Mississippi Place N.E. is a double
frontage lot and is currently occupied by a four-plex. To the
north of the property across the street is the Riverside Auto Wash
complex.
Because the property is a double frontage lot and because it abuts
properties of a different use, a six foot chain link fence along
the north lot line is consistent with the City's ordinances. It
acts as a district separation fence between residential and
commercial property, and acts as a barrier for a safe yard
environment for residents and their children.
