Dear Mr. and Mrs. DeMars: on July 1, 1990, the City of Fridley began a new program called Systematic Code Enforcement. Zhis program is designed to provide fair and equitable code enfor Dement, iuprove the City's appearance, and mi nta i n property values by creating a more attractive suburban enviranMeEnt. Under this program, all properties in the City will be inspected ap--mcimately once each year to ensure that they are in om plianoe with the Fridley City Code. A reoent i'nspec'tion of your property revealed that not all bode requirements are presently being met. Listed below are items which do not couply with the Code: 1. Fridley City code requires that all vehicles must be currently licensed/street operable and kept on a hard surface parking area, or stored in an enclosed structure. Observed unlicensed vehicle, RV65257 (expired registration), an the grass near the driveway on your property which is not in omplianoe with any or all of the above 2. Discontisnue outside storage of wood and assorted materials located near the garage. (Fridley City bode does permit the storage of stacked firewood in the side or rear yard.) 3. Fridley City Code requires that all solid waste must be kept in secured containers stored in the side yard, rear yard, or garage, except on the collection date. I observed unsecured solid waste near garage. Your prcupt attention in correcting this problem would help us in our effort to improve the City.
