RE: First Notice of Noncompliance at 6850 Monroe Street N.E.
Dear Mr. Wittinger:
The City of Fridley has established a City Code for the purpose of
promoting a pleasant and attractive suburban environment. A recent
inspection of the property at 6850 Monroe Street N.E. revealed that
not all Code requirements are presently being met. Listed below
are items which do not comply with the City Code:
1. Fridley City Code requires that all vehicles must be currently
licensed/street operable and kept on a hard surface parking
area if they are stored outside. I observed two vehicles
(CIR-804 and DYE -911) which do not fully meet these require-
ments.
Your prompt attention in correcting this situation would greatly
assist us in helping make Fridley a better place to live. An
inspection will be conducted on or about June 8, 1992, to determine
compliance.

This letter is to confirm the information which we discussed in our
recent telephone conversation. At that time, I granted you an
extension of time to comply with the terms of my May 26, 1992,
letter. In accordance with Fridley City Code 123, you must take
action to make the referenced vehicles currently licensed and
street operable if they are to be stored outside.
I will be reinspecting this property on or shortly after June 30,
1992, at which time full compliance is expected. Should this
deficiency remain, legal action will be approved.

On April 28, 1993, a second inspection of the property at 6850
Monroe Street N.E. confirmed that the following item still does not
comply with City Code:
1. Fridley City Code requires that all vehicles must be currently
licensed and street operable. I observed a vehicle (227 -BMX)
on your property which is not in compliance with the above
requirements.
A final inspection to determine compliance will be conducted on or
about May 21, 1993. You should arrange to complete an approved
plan for compliance before that date. Should this inspection
confirm that this deficiency still exists, legal action will be
approved. If corrective action cannot be completed by this time,
contact me to coordinate a schedule to complete this requirement.
