Financial and Sales: The project is a Townhouse Association, with forty owner occupied units in the $35,000 to $38,000 -range. The interim and permanent mortgage financing has been arranged through Shelter Mortgage. Their appraisal of the project has confirmed the values as stated. MGIC mortgages will be available up to ninety percent of these values to approved buyers. Title Insurance of Minnesota will close and guarantee title. Amenities: Timber Ridge was designed by Herb Fritz„ an associate of Frank Lloyd Wright. In keeping with the Wright nature theme, we will use berms with plantings, a circulating pond and this unique design to create a specific identity. The pond will be used for ice skating in winter. Flora Aublic Works Director DATE: July 3, 1989 SUBJECT: Timber Ridge Park Area I visited the Timber Ridge Park Development park area on Thursday, July 27, it appears that the park is in pretty good shape. The tennis court needs striping and a net, and possibly some weed control on a few of the cracks, but it would be useable. One of the benches in the park needs to be removed because erosion has occurred and filled up underneath the seat. Another two benches need a couple of boards replaced on them. On the swing set, three of the swings need new seats and the chains repaired. The various slides and horsey rides all are in satisfactory condition. There is some erosion of the sand area onto the path, but that doesn't affect the park use at all. A couple of years ago the city went in, based upon a request of the residents and the council members and we repaired all the equipment in the park and took out one of the merry-go-rounds which was in bad repair and parts not available. This property is currently under the control of the county, and as such the county does not maintain or operate totlot areas, their position is to remove these facilities. These facilities have remained as they are as an amenity to the apartment complex, without anybody taking any real ownership or responsibility for it.
