STORAGE AND LAUNDRY SPACE
The following material is an attempt.at more practical
and realistic approaches to the problem of storage and laundry
space. These are suggestions and they are meant to make
adjustments not to lower standards.
STORAGE SPACE:
Forty square feet of floor area, floor to ceiling, per
dwelling unit for storage shall be provided. A minumum of
twenty square feet shall be provided in the dwelling exclusive
of the dwelling unit. The remaining required storage area, may
be located anywhere on the lot (as defined herein) provided
this area is convenient and not located or included in the
storage space within each individual dwelling unit.
Also, each storage space for each dwelling unit shall
be enclosed and separated from other storage spaces.
LAUNDRY SPACE:
The minimum space for laundry room facilities to be
provided shall be not less than 100 square feet of floor area
in structures containing not more than four (4) dwelling
units, not less than 200 square feet of floor area in structures
containing not more than eight (8) dwelling units, and a
laundry room area of not less than 50 additional square
feet for each additional four (4) units or portion thereof.
