Dear Mr. and Mrs. Murphy:
Currently the City is considering making improvements to Flanery
Park. During a review of this issue, the City's Engineering
Department determined that the fence along the east side of your
property extends approximately 4 feet onto City property. It is
important that this fencing be removed from the City property as
soon as possible.
I will be reinspecting this site on or after June 8, 1992, at which
time full compliance is expected. Please contact me at 572-3595

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Murphy:
On May 28, 1992, I sent you a letter (copy enclosed) concerning the
fence you have constructed east of your residence. At that time,
I indicated that the City's Engineering Department determined this
fence to extend approximately four feet onto City property, and I
requested that you take action to correct this situation.
After receiving this letter, you contacted me to discuss this
matter further. As I recall, you stated that you were aware that
this fencing extended somewhat onto City property, but you believed
it to be less than four feet. From this conversation, it was my
understanding that you would be taking action to correct the
problem.
Recent observations indicate that the fence continues to remain at
the same location. It is important that you remove that portion
of the fence which is located on City property.
A reinspection will be conducted on or shortly after September 21,
1992, at which time compliance is expected. Should the problem
remain at that time, I will instruct the City's Public Works
Department to remove that portion of the fence which is located
within Flanery Park and bill you for the costs incurred.
