Re: Refuse deposited and weeds growing
at 6300 Pierce Street N.E.
Dear Mr. McNaughton:
During an environmental investigation on July 11, 1974 at
the above property, this department confirmed the presence of a
discarded swing set, branches, brush, a barrel, long weeds and
other assorted refuse deposited to the rear of your property, in
violation of Section 113 of the Fridley City Code.
Said section states that "...Any accumulation of refuse on
any premises is hereby declared to be a nuisance and shall be
abated by order of the Health Authority".
Subsequently, this department must require that you clean
and maintain your property free of all wastes found deposited
there and dispose of same in a sanitary manner, e.g. Anoka County
Sanitary Landfill. Furthermore, such weeds must be cut and
maintained below 10" in height. This must be accomplished on
or before ten (10) days from the date of this letter at which time
a reinspection should find all matters taken care of.
We are confident in your cooperation with regard to this matter
but if any questions or problems arise from this letter, please feel
free to contact me at 560-3450, ext. 41.
