It was pointed out that the Council has already seen this request at the
April 29, 1968 meeting. It was agreed to concur with the Building Standards
Design Control Subcommittee's recommendations and add that the blacktopping
will.be 5' west of the east property line and have precast concrete curbs,
and authorize issuance of building permit with these exceptions.

In answer to Councilman Sheridan's question as to where the water will go,
the City Engineer.replied that it would go into the river.
MOTION by Councilman Liebl to authorize issuing a building permit subject
to the entire 4800 square feet of pool area being enclosed by a 42 foot
fence. Seconded by Councilman Sheridan. Upon a voice vote, all voting aye,
Mayor Kirkham declared the motion carried unanimously.

MOTION by Councilman Sheridan to concur with the Building Standards Design

Councilman Samuelson. Upon a voice vote, Councilman Harris voting nay, the
motion carried.

ofparking lot and driveway. Motion seconded by Councilman Sheridan.
Upon a voice vote, all voting aye, Mayor Kirkham declared the motion carried
unanimously.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
The following must be secured before moving permit will be issued:
1. A building permit for new location of building to be moved. To obtain this building permit, the following is
required:
(a) The building to be moved must be inspected for structural soundness by the building inspector. Phone this
office for inspection. SUnset 4-7470.
(b) A survey of lot to which building is to be moved. This survey must be made by a licensed surveyor.
(c) The building and moving permit must be obtained at the same time.
2. Tax receipt showing that all real estate taxes due have been paid. Duplicate receipts may be obtained at Anoka
County Auditor.
3. Approval from the Fridley Water and Sewer Department showing that bills chargeable against the property to
be moved have been paid and water connections have been discontinued at the curb line or at the main. (See
reverse side of form.)
4. Approval from Fridley Director of Public Works office approving routing.
5. Notification to, and signature of utility companies. (See reverse side of form.)

Dear Mr. Gwiazdon:
A mechanical permit was issued on September 28, 2001 to install a furnace and air
conditioner at your address. According to the 1991 Uniform Mechanical Code a final
inspection shall be conducted on the work authorized by this permit. As of this date the
inspection has not been requested.
The permit fee that was paid covers the inspection to make sure the work was completed
according to the Codes. We will keep your permit open for another 30 days and if we do
not hear from you within this time to set up the inspection, we will mark the permit "no
inspection called for by homeowner after notification" and take no further action.

Re: Corrections at 6350 Pierce Street NE, Fridley, MN
Dear Sirs:
City Building Inspection records indicate corrections have not been completed in accordance with State
Building Code Sections 104.2 and 104.9; 1991 UMC Section 303, and possible other Code sections; or as per
manufacturer's instructions.
Within fourteen (14) working days after receipt of this letter, you must;
1) Complete the enclosed corrections.
2) Schedule a final inspection.
3) Pass inspection per applicable codes and /or manufacturer's installation instructions.
Should you fail to do the above, the City of Fridley will not issue any additional permits and the process to
suspend or revoke your City License will commence per City ordinance Section 206.07, Subparts 9, 10 and 11
which state, "The City Council shall have the power to suspend or revoke the license of any person licensed
under the regulations of this Section, whose work is found to be improper or defective or so unsafe as to
jeopardize life or property providing the person holding such license is given twenty (20) days notice and
granted the opportunity to be heard before such action is taken .... When a license issued under this Section is
suspended, the period of suspension shall be not less than thirty (30) days nor more than one (1) year, such
period being determined by the City Council... When any person holding a license as provided herein has
been convicted for the second time by a court of law for violation of any of the provisions of this Code, the City
Council shall revoke the license of the person so convicted. Such person may not make application for a new
license for a period of one (1) year."
