CITY CODE OF FRIDLEY MINNESOTA 1963, REVISED DECEMBER 31, 1964 BY WAIVER OF
SIDE YARD REQUIREMENT FROM 172 FEET TO 10 FEET ON CORNER SIDE OF LOT 17,
BLOCK 2, SYLVAN HILLS, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, SAME BEING 6101 RAINBOW DRIVE
NORTHEAST, FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA, TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF A DETACHED GARAGE,

Mr. Marsnik was present. He pointed out that althoughthe structure would be
10 feet from the property line, there would be 202 feet of clear, open space
from the garage to the curb.
MOTION by Mittelstadt, seconded by Minish, to accept the variance and to
grant the variance since the garage is 202 feet from the curb. Upon a voice

Mr. Ingaldson was present.
MOTION by Ahonen, seconded by Saunders, that in view of the surrounding
neighborhood and the preliminary drawings presented by Mr. Ingaldson, the
variance be granted. Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, Chairman Ylinen

Chairman Ylinen read a letter from Eugene Gustafson, owner of the adjoining
property at 740 Pandora Drive, in which he objected to granting the variance.
MOTION by Mittelstadt, seconded by Ahonen, to receive the.letter from
Mr. Gustafson. Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, Chairman Ylinen declared
the motion carried.

Commission Meeting of June 22, 1967. Seconded by Councilman Sheridan.
Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, Mayor Kirkham declared the

garage to Albert F. Marsnik. Seconded by Councilman Liebl. Upon a
voice vote, all voting aye, except Councilmen Samuelson and Sheridan

It was noted that Mr. Ingaldson was not present.
MOTION by Councilman Samuelson that the Council concur with the Board of
Appeals and grant the waiver of the front yard setback requirement of
35 feet to 28 feet to permit construction of an attached garage with
living area above on Lot 10, Block 6, Rice Creek Terrace, Plat 4, Anoka
County, (6777 - 7th St. N. E.) to Gerald G. Ingaldson. Seconded by
Councilman Sheridan. Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, Mayor
Kirkham declared the motion carried'.
MOTION by Councilman Sheridan that the Council receive the balance of
the Minutes of the Board of Appeals Meeting of June 28, 1.967 inasmuch
as no action is necessary. Seconded by Councilman Samuelson. Upon a
voice vote, there being no nays, Mayor Kirkham declared the motion carried.
