E. , Fridley Dear Mr. Menkveld: Jon Thompson and I inspected the hone and premises at 5692 Regis Trail N. E. Fridley this morning. there are some very serious problems with the front walk and rear decks as well as the problem of erosion down onto the neighbor's property to the west. The erosion has been a problem from the very beginning and has been brought to your attention on several occasions. If you have questions on this matter, please contact Mark Burch in the City Engineering Department. It is very apparent that all your post footings have failed; it appears that they have settled, causing the two decks on the rear of the house to be unsafe. The decks can not be occupied or used until a proper repair is made. The front boardwalk post footing is also settling causing the front deck to pull away from the house. All of these items require your immediate attention. We will reinspect the property on May 2, 1988 at which time all of the corrections must be completed.
