Dear Mr. Kopka:
This is to confirm that the home located at 231 Rice Creek Terrace
N.E., Fridley, Minnesota, which is legally described as Lot 7,
Block 1, Rice Creek Plaza South Addition, is within Zone C of the
flood plain as identified on the Flood Insurance Rate Map dated
March 2, 1981 (panel number 270013 0003 B). Although the northern
portion of the property abuts and may include portions of the Rice
Creek floodway, the actual home is constructed approximately 22
feet above the flood elevation of 828 feet above sea level.
According to our utility plans, the approximate road elevation is
850 feet. Upon a site inspection, the elevation of the home is
approximately at that level. Therefore, the living area is well
above the flood elevation. I have attached a copy of the flood
zone map for your use.
