SUBJECT: Concern Raised By Councilmember Ann Bolkcom/
185 River Edge Way N.E.
Recently, Councilmember Bolkcom contacted staff regarding a vacant
house at the above -referenced location. Apparently, some neighbors
voiced concern about this property to Councilmember Bolkcom during
a National Night Out party earlier this month.
Staff inspected the property and observed that the patio door was
not -locked, a basement window was missing, and there was a minor
amount of debris in the rear yard. Staff advised Sandy Moorhouse,
HUD property manager, and a second inspection conducted earlier
today revealed that the problems had been corrected.
