Dear Mr. and Mrs. Huna:
The City of Fridley has established a City Code for the purpose of promoting a pleasant
and attractive suburban environment. A recent inspection of the property at 8171 Ruth
Circle revealed that not all Code requirements are presently being met. Listed below is
an item which does not comply with the City Code:
• Fridley City Code requires that all solid waste must be kept in 32 -gallon secured
containers stored in the side yard, rear yard, or garage. It has been reported to me
that your location is one of several that has containers in excess of 32 gallons in
size and/or missing secure lids. Please inspect your refuse containers and verify
that they are in compliance with these code requirements.
We understand that you may have been unaware of this requirement. Correcting this
situation will greatly assist us in helping make Fridley a better place to live. An
inspection will be conducted on or shortly after April 26, 1997. Please have your
property in compliance at that time.

resistive barrier be placed over exterior sheathing to protect the interior
wall covering. Exceptions to this provision would be if sheathing is an
approved weatherproof panel or when the siding is an approved weather
barrier. Vinyl siding is not a weatherproof covering unless the
manufacturer states this in the application guidelines.
