Roofing System with Complete Tear -Off 1. Conduct a pre job meeting to discuss job scheduling, safety requirements, and job site logistics. 2. Remove existing roof systems down to the deck and dispose of the same off the premises. 3. Remove all of the existing sheet metal and dispose of properly. 4. Allweather Roof will remove the existing parapet wall flashings to the original substrate and dispose of the same off the premises. 5. Inspect existing decking. Deteriorated decking will be mutually agreed upon by Allweather Roof and the owner representative. Replacement of deteriorated wood decking will be at a cost of $6.00 per square foot. 6. Cut out an area on the south side for the installation of a new scupper and downspout to improve drainage. 7. Mechanically attach a layer of tapered polyisocyanurate insulation in accordance with specifications. 8. Install reinforced perimeter fastening strip (RDFS), fastened every 12" on center at the base of all perimeters, control joints and skylight curbs. 9. Install the 60 Mil E.P.D.M Fully Adhered Roofmg System over the prepared surface utilizing neoprene -based bonding adhesive in accordance with specifications. 10. Seams will be overlapped a minimum of 4" when solidly glued and sealed with 3" butyl based splicing adhesive. Joint edges will be caulked with E.P.D.M. based caulking in accordance with specifications. 11. Install new projection and perimeter flashings in accordance with approved specifications. 12. Fabricate and install new 24 -gauge, through wall scuppers. Flash in with uncured E.P.D.M. flashing membrane according to specifications. 13. Fabricate and install new prefinished coping cap, scuppers and downspouts. Color is to be selected by the owner. 14. This proposal carries a Contractor's 10 year warranty on all labor and materials.
