BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
The Chief Building Official shall, before issuing permits for the erection of any
building or structure, or for any addition to any existing building or structure, or
for any alteration or repair to any existing building or structure, upon application
therefore, require the payment by the applicant for such permit of fees to the amount
herein below set forth and in the manner herein provided to -wit:
Total Valuation Fees
$1.00 to $500.00 $10.00 (Minimum Fee is $15.00)
$501.00 to $2,000.00 $10.00 for the first $500 plus $1.50 for each
additional $100 or fraction thereof, to and including
$2,000.
$2,001.00 to $25,000.00 $32.50 for the first $2,000 plus $6.00 for each

is the attorney for the ticner, and he indicated he had another meeting
to attend and would t the Council meeting around 8:30 p.m.

Mr. Flora, Public Works Director, stated on January 25, 1985, the City
received information regarding a closing on property in the Doty-Wellner
plat. He stated it was found that the home extended over the utility
easement on the property. Be stated a request, therefore, has been received
to vacate a porton of the existing easement.
Mr. Flora stated the petitioner has requested the Council set a public
hearing in order to expedite the process and allow the closing on the
property. Be stated by scheduling the public hearing on March 18, the
Council would then be able to receive the Planning Coamisson's recc mendaton
regarding this vacation.
MOrCN by Councilman Goodspeed to set the public hearing on this vacation
request, SAV #85-01, for Mare 18, 1985. Seconded by Councilman Schneider.
Upon a voice vote, all voting aye, Mayor Nee declared the motion carried
unanimously.

received for a small portion df -property located north of Ord Avenue and
adjacent to Target. He stated, in r to construct cn this parcel,
variances are required.
Mr. Flora stated the petitioner is requesting a reduct in the lot size
from 35,000 square feet to 22,160 square feet; reduction of a rear yard
setback from 40 to 5 feet; reduction of the front yard setback f r 80 to 65
feet; and an increase in the maximum sign height from 25 to 35 feet.

represent'' tives of the Anoka County Retarded Citizens, Coon Rapids Senior
Citiz , and local nursing hones. He stated, frau this meeting, there was
agre gent that brochures regarding the Islands of Peace should be
distributed.
Zhe,Council received a sample of the type of brochure which is proposed to
distributed. He stated the Islands of Peace is the result of a great
of volunteer work and hoped the brochure would be sent throughout the
to and country. He stated he thought the Islands of Peace has set in
