Re: Proper drainage for Developing Property
Dear Mr. Buzick,
This is to inform you that recently city forces have located
and staked the outfall for the catch basin drain in the trailer
court immediately North of your property. The attached sketch
shows the approximate.location of this outfall. As this outlet
has been blocked and buried by the recent fill you are having
placed on Lot 2, Block 1 of Central View Manor, 2nd Addition,
it is recommended that it be cleaned of all obstacles and the
proper drainage Swale constructed along the rear 15 feet drainage
easement before a substantial rainfall occurs«
I have discussed the matter of proper location of the
continuation of this drainage ditch with Mr. Gus Doty. He indicated
to me on July 29, that he will meet with the owners of Lot 3-, Block 1,
Central View Manor, 2nd Addition, Mr. Sheldon Mortensen, and Lots
7, 8, and 9 Central View Manor, Mr. Carl Sorenson, to discuss the
location of this drainage easement. He also indicated that when a
decision has been made, he will contact you, so that you may proceed
with the proper grading.
Until that time, if you will please insure that the proper
precautions have been taken to alleviate any drainage restrictions,
it would be appreciated. After reviewing the site it is proposed
that the ditch be constructed to only the N.W. corner of Lot 2,
Block.l, Central View Manor, 2nd Addition until the final route
has been selected.
