Fridley, MN 55432 Re: Engebretson-Pollard Dear Virgil: TELEPHONE ( 512)571-3450 It snowed soon after the receipt of your letter of November 15, 1978 so we were unable to observe the placement of leaves on the subject property. We do have City Ordinances that could be used to stop the dumping of leaves onto City or State right of way. In researching the status of Johnson Street, I was able to find that on November 10, 1969 the City Council held a Public Hearing for the vacation of Johnson Street. Mr. Pollard did attend this Hearing and stated that he did not want anymore land and that he objected to the City vacating the street. Therefore, the City Council only vacated the portion south of Skywood Lane. If the street were vacated, it would go totally to Mr. Pollard's property since it was dedicated from that parcel at the time his lot was platted. We would have to retain a utility easement since we do have a 14 inch watermain running down the Johnson Street right of way.
