This change certainly is logical since Highway #100 is no longer in
existence, however, -the house number's also must be changed. _

It snowed soon after the receipt of your letter of November 15, 1978 so
we were unable to observe the placement of leaves on the subject property.
We do have City Ordinances that could be used to stop the dumping of
leaves onto City or State right of way.
In researching the status of Johnson Street, I was able to find that on
November 10, 1969 the City Council held a Public Hearing for the
vacation of Johnson Street. Mr. Pollard did attend this Hearing and
stated that he did not want anymore land and that he objected to the
City vacating the street. Therefore, the City Council only vacated the
portion south of Skywood Lane.
If the street were vacated, it would go totally to Mr. Pollard's property
since it was dedicated from that parcel at the time his lot was platted.
We would have to retain a utility easement since we do have a 14 inch
watermain running down the Johnson Street right of way.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Pollard:
On October 27, 1987 it was confirmed by an on-site inspection that the
property at 1385 Skywood Lane N.E. does not meet the minimum standards
necessary to maintain a pleasant and prosperous suburban environment. While
major code requirements are satisfied, the following item does not comply
with the performance standards of the City Code:
1. Outside storage of wood planks, one (1) wheelbarrow and one (1) lawn
mower.
Your immediate action to correct this situation would be a great improvement
for your property and the entire community as well. An inspection will be
conducted on or about November 9, 1987 to determine compliance.

A plumbing permit was issued on April 30, 1998 for the property located at 1385
Skywood Lane NE for a new water heater. According to Section 30.5(a) of the 1991
Uniform Plumbing Code a final inspection shall be performed on plumbing systems. As
of this date no inspection has been called for.
You will be given thirty (30) days from receipt of this notice to respond. If we do not
hear from you, we will expire the permit and any inspections on this installation will
require a new permit.
