REPORT OF TEST
INTRODUCTION
This fire door assembly was tested in accordance with ASTM E-152
procedure and was for a 3/4 hour rating in conformance with the
Nat -Tonal Fire Protection Association Class C requirement.
TEMPERATURE
Previously calibrated thermocouples were placed in the furnace 6t1
from, the face of the door and also on the outside surface of the door,
The EMF voltage was read on a heeds and Northrup indicating potentiometer,
TEST DOOR
The 3.01 x 61 7 1/4" x-1 3/4" polyurethane foam core door, contain-
ing two 24 gauge galvanized steel panels was submitted by the client,
complete in a fire sated steel frame, lockset and hinges.
CONCLUSION
The door tested on March 12, 1970, in the presence of the above
witnesses, meets the specification of ASTM E-152 for a Class C, 45 minute
test.

weatherstrip or the manufacturer's adjustable magnetic type
weatherstrip. Manufacture recommends the use of either of these
types of weatherstripping in combination with adjustable sill,
threshold and sweep for optimum Jzsulation.

TEST PROCEDURE
The air infiltration tests were conducted by the static
method in accordance with the general procedures specified in
ASTM L286-68, Standard Method of Test for Rate of Air Leakage
Through Windows
In addition to the 25 mph equivalent wind -velocity specified
in the Method of Test, air infiltration determinations at equiva-
lent wind velocities of 10, 15, 20 309 35s 40, 45 and 50 mph
were made in accordance with the instructions of the clients re-
presentative, Mr. WS_. R. St.Aubinv who witnessed the tests.

This letter is in response to our telephone conversation of August 3, 1976.
We are enclosing an application for a general contractors license to work
in Fridley. Apparently this was overlooked when your recent building permit
was issued. Would you please complete the application and return it to us
for proper processing. The license fee is $25.00 which should be included
with the application. We have already received copies of your insurance
forms.
Also, we are missing a verifying survey and o les of the truss design that
were required on the building permit for 631 Squire Drive N.E. I have
contacted Scherer Brothers Suppliers regarding the fire rating on the garage
door. I suggest holding off on installing the unit until we get confirmation.
