The Police Department discovered a fire at 1067 North Circle about 5:30am on Sunday
morning after responding to a domestic call earlier in the morning to the same address.
Firefighters arrived on a manufactured home fully involved in fire and protected the exposures
on three sides. The home is a total loss. Fire damaged two additional homes, two vehicles and
Low water pressure in Fridley Terrace hampered our ability to fight
the fire and multiple hydrants were blocked by vehicles. Firefighters had to stretch five-
hundred feet of supply line, mostly by hand, in order to establish a water supply. Matt Field
will be following up with the owners of the property.
The fire was investigated by the Anoka County Fire Investigation Team, Anoka County CID
charges will be, I believe they are considering first degree arson. Police had a large number of
resources including K-9 present looking for a suspect.
There were no injuries reported. In addition to the agencies mentioned, nineteen Fridley
Firefighters were present with three engines and a rescue truck and SBM was called to assist
Allina also had two ambulances and a supervisor present.
