SUBJECT AIR CONDITIONING QjaTS AT 6400, 6410, 6412 tarlight Circle Bill Sandin Darrel Clark X John Flora X I have determined that the units as proposed at the above addresses would emit noise levels in violation of the city's noise ordinance. The developer has supplied the city with a letter promising to muffle or relocate the units if they became a problem after installation. Since it has been determined that they would violate provisions of the noise ordinance and relocation is not feasible (the wiring and slabs are already in place), I have informed the developers that the units must be properly muffled. The developed has verbally agreed to muffle the units immediately after installation. I am obtaining literature from a noise expert on how to properly muffle these units. Any other assisstance that you can offer to resolve this situation would be greatly appreciated. WSD/kh
