Owens Coming recommends using a non -corroding, non -staining, metal drip edge at the eaves and
rakes. It is not a requirement unless required by Building Code.
When drip edge has not been installed, the Owens Coming Limited Warranty on Roofing Shingles is still in effect
and the shingles must overhang the eaves and rake edges approximately 3/8" to 3/4". Where drip edefias been
installed with an ad a that exterttfs=autt from the -eaves and rakes, the shingles maybe cut flushes g fie=dn_p edge
c.or overhang the cave and rake edges as indlcated above. Owens Coming warrants shingles to be free from
manufacturing defects only. We will accept no responsibility for any problems resulting from the decking or other
materials not directly attributable to a manufacturing defect in the shingles themselves.
