A recent inspection of the property at 7340 Stinson Boulevard N.E. revealed that not all Code requirements are presently being met. Listed below are items which do not comply with the City Code: 1. Fridley City Code requires that all vehicles must be currently licensed/street operable and kept on a hard surface parking area if they are stored outside. I observed two vehicles (076 -DPG and a truck parked along the north side of the garage) which do not fully comply with these requirements. 2. Discontinue outside storage of utility trailer located in front yard. Fridley City Code does permit such storage in the side or rear yards. Your prompt attention in correcting this situation would greatly assist us in helping make Fridley a better place to live. I have spoken with our Fire Department and Suburban Propane, and it is my understanding that this was an emergency installation performed due to the failure of your oil furnace. The Fridley Zoning Code does not permit storage of this type of item if it is visible from the public right-of-way. However, I have discussed the matter with Suburban Propane, and they have indicated that this is a temporary solution only (you plan to hook up to natural gas in the spring), and the circumstances make it somewhat difficult to relocate the tank to the rear yard. There- fore, I will expect that this tank will be removed early next spring (weather permitting). In addition, while driving past your residence I observed a utility trailer in the front yard. The Fridley Zoning Code's restrictions limit such storage to the side and rear yard. Please move this trailer to an appropriate location as soon as possible.
