Install as shown in Figure 8 using 10D nails. 11. FLOOR SHEATHING 12' and 20' Buildings Cut (2) pieces of 4'x8' floor sheathing into (4) 4'x4' pieces. Use these pieces along with the appropriate number of 4' 4'x8' pieces: 3 for a 12' building, and 6 for a 20' building, to stagger floor sheathing. Floor sheathing will need to be notched to fit around side-wall frame members.
