For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the rate of $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in the cost of all proposed work. In -no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be less than $7.50 plus $.50 state surcharge. Tom was told to remove the peat, at'which time we would inspect the excavation. At the request of Jerry Belair on 9 June 1977 we examined the excavation and found it to be clean of peat material to the water table level of from one to three feet. Jerry was told to remove a small area of peat on the south side of the excavation and then backfill to footing grade. On 14 June 1977 at the request of Jerry Belair we took one density tes a backfille s �aterial. The density test passed wi a 92% of modified Proctdr,,with 90% being the minimum acceptable. Based on the above it is our opinion the foundation fill is satisfactory to support a single family framed with two #4 rein- forcement bars in the footings. If you have any questions, please call.
