This work will be completed at no cost to you and should result in minimal impact to your property. All lawn areas impacted will be restored. Since the power pole relocation the City sidewalk plow cannot pass between the new power pole location and the retaining wall adjacent to your property creating a serious snow removal problem. The City has attempted to have Excel relocate the power pole without success however; relocating the west end of the retaining wall approximately six inches further onto your property can also solve the problem. If you do not have any objections to relocating the retaining wall the City would pay all relocation costs plus any necessary lawn restoration. I have enclosed a photo that illustrates the problem the City is having plowing the sidewalk on Mississippi Street.
