BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the
erection of any tsilding of structure, or for any addition to any existing
buildi.ng:or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing building
or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the applicant
for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in the manner
herein provided to -wit:
Uniform Building Code: Type 1,2, & 4- $1.75 for each one thousand cubic feet, or
fraction thereof, in such cubical contents. Type 3 & 5 - $1.50 for each
one thousand cubic feet.
For the purpose of computing fees -,for building permits, the cubical contents of
any building or addition to a uniform height throughout by multipluing the.ground
area covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement or
cellar to the average height of the upper surface or to the average height of the
roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof
in the cost of all proposed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any -permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00.

Terrace an� 7500 Tempo --terrace a single spruce tree is growing
in the vision—safety control zone. (see attached inspection slip)
Although Section 205.154, paragraph 3, does not permit anything
to grow between the heights of 211 and 10 feet in this zone; it is
my feeling that these trees alone do not impede anybody's vision
if proper traffic speed and yield signs are observed.

He: Intersection Vision Safety Zone Obstruction
Dear Mr. Jorgensen:
In order to provide safe passage for vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the
City of Fridley, periodic inspections of street intersections are conducted.
An inspection on August 13, 1984 has determined that the sightline for the
intersection on your property is obstructed and could present a hazard to
traffic.
Section 205.154 of the City Code requires that, "On a corner lot in a vision
safety control zone, nothing shall be erected, placed, planted or allowed to
grow in such a manner as to impede vision..., the vision safety control zone
is described as follows: That area bounded by the street right of way lines
of a corner lot and a straight line joining points on said right of way lines
twenty five (25) feet from the intersection of said right of way lines."
Therefore, the City is requesting you, the property owner, to correct the
following problem and to make the City's streets safer for travel. A
reinspection will be conducted on or about September 4, 1984 to determine
compliance.
We are confident in your cooperation to correct this problem, but if there is
any problem with the interpretation of this letter, please feel free to call
on me at 571-3450.
The inspection of your property indicated that the following obstruction
existed and should be corrected:
Cut and remove the lower branches of the
Spruce tree to provide a better sight line.
