Re: Swimming Pool Ordinance, City Code Chapter 115
Dear Mr. Breider:
Please find enclosed the proposed revised swimming pool ordinance.which
would replace the present City Code Chapter 115.
As stated to you on the telephone on March 11, the staff will be presenting
this to the City Council on March 22 for their official action on April. 5
for the first reading.
Some of the more evident changes are;
1. An increase in fence height from 4 feet.to 6 feet.
2. An increase in depth of the out of ground pools from 5 feet to 7 feet
without drains.
3. Special. Use Permit for inflatable pool covers.
4. Adoption of the M.H.D. Public Pool Regulations
I have also enclosed the present Code, Chapter 115, for your use.
