The purpose of this letter is to inform the Tilkens campaign of Fridley City Code sign posting requirements. In reviewing this letter, please be aware that the City is asking for voluntary compliance to a well established provision of the Fridley City Code. Fridley City Code does allow the posting of political signs provided they are removed five days following the election, meet all distancelsize requirements and the appropriate monetary deposits have been made with the City. The signs observed at 1595 Trollhaugen Drive appear to meet all distance and size requirements. However, there is no record of a deposit being made on behalf of the Tilkins campaign.
