$UILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein provided to -gait:
UNIF'ORN BUILDING CODE: Type 1, 2 & 4 - $2.15 for each one thousand cubic
feet, or fraction thereof, in such cubical contents. Type 3 & 5 - X1.85 for
each one thousand cubic feet.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
For the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement
or the cellar to the average heights of the upper surface or to the average
height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all proposed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00.
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE; Permits for construction will be issued a minimaum of 24 hours from the
ti=e of application, to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and
of the construction site.
A Certified Survey of the lot, showing the location of the foundattgn, once it
has been constructed, will be required before proceeding with the framinge
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate -of Occupancy shall be made ten (10) days prior
to the use or occupancy of any structure for which a building permit has been
issued; and said structure shall not be used or occupied until a Certificate
of Occupancy has been issued.

The scale was extracted with deionized water and the extract chemically examined. Below
are the results:

The above analysis shows that chlorides are the active corrodents causing the severe cor-
rosion of the combustion chamber.
Chlorides arise from the burning of chlorine containing compounds in furnace. They would
enter with the combustion air.
Chlorine containing compounds are found in air conditioning systems, aerosol propellents,
paints, dry cleaning fluids etc.
The residence should be inspected to determine the source of the chlorine containing com-
pounds.
REMARKS:
Scale sample was received for analysis on April 19, 1983.

Dear Mr. Jensen,
I have previously submitted information for a building permit to construct an above
ground pool at my address. As many projects go, my plans have changed. Therefore I am
submitting a revised drawing. It turned out that the 30 foot by 15 foot diameter did not
include footing that go out an additional 2 feet each direction. Therefore, I would have
had to lose 2 black walnut trees with the original location.
I do not want to lose any trees, so we decided to place the pool toward the back right
corner of the lot. I had my fire pit moved more to center and a bird house relocated... but
no trees will be lost. When I realized the pool will be so far from the house, I would not
be able to see into it from my existing deck. Therefore, I want to have a modular deck
installed to increase the visibility of the pool and also to increase the enjoyable use of the
pool. It will be adjoined to the pool. Since it is constructed of aluminum, modular, and
above ground, I hope it is included in the existing permit. It will be over 3 feet away from
neighbor's fence.
