The property owner at 5505 West Danube Road would like to build a deck on the northeast side of his home that would encroach four feet into the existing utility easement which runs along the north side of the property. I have inspected the property and do not feel this would create a problem for us if we had to perform maintenance on the storm sewer line running along the north property line of this site. I am attaching a letter from the property owner requesting this encroachment and a drawing which shows the deck and the north property line. Please forward this information to the City Council for their consideration.
