RMARDING: Purchase of Gunderson Property at 5707 West Moore Lake Drive
On Wednesday, November 12, 1986 Eric Nesset of Woodbridge Properties
indicated that Mrs. Gunderson had signed a purchase agreement with Woodbridge
for $94,500 at closing before after April 30, 1987. We agreed at that time
that the subsequent alignment would be a better geometric design and would
create more land for Woodbridge and more open space on the north side of the
road, but we did not agree to Eric Nesset's request that the HRA acquire that
property and add the cost to the intersection cost.
I told Mr. Nesset that we could not consider his request until we received a
copy of the purchase agreement which I subsequently received and forwarded to
David Newman. Today I received a phone call from Mrs. Gunderson. She had
apparently phoned Eric Nesset for a progress report on the purchase agreement
and he had referred her to me. I told her that the HRA attorney was
reviewing the documents and that I would give her an update by the end of
this week.
The three of us should meet briefly to discuss this to give some indication
of direction both to Eric Nesset and to Mrs. Gunderson.
