SUBJECT: 5719 West Moore Lake Drive Garage Verification.
Upon my observation of the garage at 5719 W. Moore Lake Drive the following conditions
should be noted:
♦ According to a 1958 building permit, the garage dimensions are 16 feet by 22 feet.
♦ The SE corner of the garage appears to be situated extremely close to the adjacent
properties fence line.
♦ There is no record of a setback variance for the current structure, based on my visual
inspection a variance may be necessary pending future structural modifications.
There is no expansion room to the south of the current garage, however, it would be possible to
enlarge the current garage to a standard size by attaching it to the house. As noted, the structures
proximity to the neighboring lot line is questionable and could possibly require a variance if this
structural modification occurs.

2. Noble Nursery $2,500.00
I have authorized Noble Nursery to plant the requested materials. Mr. Leo Vandebrook
contacted me on Monday, October 23rd regarding the installation of the requested plant materials.
It is after the Nurseryman's Association recommended planting date of September 15th. He
recommended that we defer planting until after April 15, 1996. I agreed with his
recommendation. I will be writing a letter to the adjacent property owner whom we met with in
August regarding this project. Kurth Surveying will locate the lot line this fall so that we can
install the requested plant materials next spring.

Black Hill Spruce and two 2-112 inch Caliper Royal Red Maples. I will be contacting you in April
to review the field locations of these plant materials prior to their installation.

Per Section 1402, 1997 Uniform Building Code requires that a weather -
resistive barrier be placed over exterior sheathing to protect the interior
