Re: Construction Without a Building Permit and Debris on Site
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Strouth:
It was called to our attention that you have constructed a screen porch onto
the back of your home and are in the process of installing a bow window on
the front of your mane located at 6083 Woody Lane N.E.
A field inspection conducted on June 7, 1988 did indicate that you do have a
new porch and a partially completed bow window installation. Both of these
items require a building permit and a review of our files indicate that no
City permits have been issued.
It was also determined during the June 7, 1988 inspection that there is some
debris being stored on the south side of the garage.
All of these items do constitute City Code violations and corrective action
is required in order to avoid further legal action.
Therefor, would you please summit a building permit application along with
appropriate construction plans for the porch and window and proceed to remove
the debris. We feel this can reasonably be accomplished on or before June
20, 1988. As soon as we have reviewed your plan, the City will be ready to
issue the building permit.
Your cooperation in these matters will be appreciated and if you have any
