The previous backup was on December 23, 1977. The backup in 1993 was caused by roots, and the one in 1977 was unknown, except that when the backup was relieved they discovered a large piece of plastic, which could have caused the backup. So frc4n 1972 to 1993, there were two backups only, and very little damage in either of them. Mr. Utter called in two other backups on July 29, 1992, and October 29, 1990, but in both of these calls the City main was clear. In other words, the backups were in his own line. I did not go back beyond 1990 for sewer backups in his own line. As for any televising dare on this line, the only record I could find on Woody Lane was on October 16, 1970.
