PUBLIC PURPOSE SERVED BY REQUIREMENT: Section 205.054, 2, {A3} requiring 1020 square feet of living areas in the upper 2 levels of a house of split level design placed on'a lot in excess of 9,000 square feet. Public purpose served i.s to provide for adequate house size and living area in residential buildings. B. STATED HARDSHIP: We feel that 928 square feet is adequate space for our family.. We do not wish to have to heat the additional floor space- The rooms a,re designed to meet all the space requirements. C. ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF REVIEW: I The petitioneris-proposing a 4 level split design with essentially 2 levels finished with room on the 3rd level for a bedroom and recreation room. Were this a 2 level split entry, or split foyer house, with the same outside dimensions, it would meet -zoning code requirements of 768 square feet of gross floor area. Please note that the setbacks for front yard off Riverview Terrace are to be 35 feet from the District Court •Line.
