R-1 g-/,/ ,6� The City manager read to the City Council the recomended denial of the Planning Commission and presented materials through the Board of Appeals and stated It would be the decision of the City Attorney whether the City Council should hold a public hearing. City Attorney Smith replied if the property miner requested a public hearing., one should be culled. The City Manager explained if the City Council would deny the request he would write a letter stating wbat had been said to Mr. Miller. Motion by Sheridan to concur with the recommendation of the Planning Comission and deny the Special Use Permit request for two double bungalows In R -l. District., Lots 27 through 300, Block 160, Plymouth Addition 0575 and 4595 - 3rd. Street N- E. by Richard Miller. Seconded by Wright. upon a voice vote,, there being no nays., the motion pried unanimously. The City Hanagermwd to the City Council the recomeendation of the Planning Commission and Streets and Utilities Sub -Committee recommending the desigm- ting of certain streets as State Aid Mileage and explained that by designa- ting it didn't mean they would ever have to be State Aid roads but would bring them up to their quantity of State Aid Mileage. City Engineer Qureshi presented maps of the areas involved. The City Mweger explained the City Engineer had auggested theta if possibly' they could designate 7th Street from Mississippi to 67th as a State Aid street it could also possibly be clone and that mileage would be deducted from these listed. it vas explained this small, stretch of road 3s difficult to assess and they could make their motion to adopt these roads plug 7th street. City Engineer Qureshi erplmined that in Januwy of the following year they would have more state aid roads coming so they could add what they were subtracting. Councilman Wright Indicated he could not be in approval of anything that would defer 49th., that this road bad been in need longer than Hathaway and 7th Street.
