ENGINEERING ESCROW FOR TERRY'S ADDITION: Councilman Harris asked if Mr. Julkowski, the developer of Terry's Addi- tion, could submit a check to the City for the engineering escrow, but 'the City hold the check and not deposit it until such time as it was assured the plot would be accepted by the County. The Council agreed �othis. COUNCIL TABLE AND RELATED EQUIPMENT FOR NEW CITY HALL: The Council discussed the matter of the arrangement and construction of the Council table in the new City Hall. It was decided that Smiley & Associates be instructed to furnish detailed drawings of the proposed table so that the Council could see just what is being proposed. POLICE DEPARTMENT SPACE: There was a discussion about the feasibility of the Police Department using a portion of the basement in the New City Hall.or remaining in the present building, and the cost estimates. MOTION by Councilman Samuelson to instruct the architect and Police Chief to come up with a preliminary drawing of the Police Department layout in the new City Hall. Seconded by Councilman Sheridan. Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, the motion carried unanimously. PLACING OF CONDUIT FOR OUTSIDE LIGHTING - CIVIC CENTER PARKING LOT: The Council discussed the matter of placing the conduit in the parking lot before the lot was surfaced and the curb put in. It was decided that a Change Order should be prepared, authorizing the placing of this conduit at this time. FLAG POLE AND PLAQUE FOR CIVIC CENTER: The Council viewed several proposals submitted by the City Engineer for a plaque and flag pole for the Civic Center. The Council instructed the City Engineer to proceed with the SO foot steel flag pole design. ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR THE SOUTH HALF OF 73RD AVENUE, WEST OF UNIVERSITY: There was a discussion on condemnation or acquiring the land for street right-of-way for the south half of 73rd Avenue, west of University.
