Mr. Rester complained to Bob Barnette about trucks on this street especially
those involved in the construction of thea ai clinic. His concern was that
if the road breaks up, who is going to pay for it. I advised Mr. Barnette that
the road is good enough for commercial traffic, but we would still talk to the
contractor to encourage them to use Mississippi Street and the University Service
Road to 61st for truck traffic.
Please do whatever is necessary to m"ze this problem.

We will coordinate with the general contractor of the Medical Clinic plus the new
office building to utilize Mississippi Street for access to the building sites.
The City streets in this area are of 7 ton design. During the summer periods,
loading is not normally a problem as the soil is dry and not frozen. The trucks
essentially cause an increase in traffic (number of passes) rather than
destruction of the surface.
