On December 13, 1965, the Council took action.on the permit applications
to repair four double bungalows from 5600 to 5620 - 6th St. N.E., and that these
repairs shall be done in accordance with the city requirements which are as
follows:
1. Repair and build up the center supports under the floor in all of these
buildings.
2. Cover the floors with 1/2" ply scale and new tile on floor covering.
3. Replace or repair all wall covering "sheet rock or what have you" to a
new condition. 1
4. Replace or repair all ceilings to a new condition.
5. Check insulation in the attics. If damaged or water-logged, replace with
new.
6. Check all roof members and joists and repair any damaged portions and re -
nail any loosened places.
7. Remove all shingles that were improperly installed after the storm and
install properly.
8. Replace any rotted wood in the window frames, sash, cornice work or trim.
9. Replace any damaged siding.
10. Repair entire building inside and out.
11. Install a proper cover over opening in foundation.
12. Install necessary electrical outlets to bring wiring to code.
13. Install metal backing on furnace room doors with proper ventilation and
a fusible link for these vents.
14. Black -top parking lots and -drives must be supplied with each building,
these spaces to be in the rear yard only and must accommodate 4 cars per
building with turn -around space to be black -topped also.
15. The balance of the lot to be sodded in the front lot and either sodded
or planted in the back lot.
