Panel -Craft DESCRIPTION AND USE OF PRODUCT: Panel -Craft is a paper honeycomb sandwich panel. The basic panels have .024'thick skins of aluminum alloy ASTM 3003 H-18. The honeycomb is of 99 pound Kraft paper formed into hexagonal cells which are 3/.' across flats. and either approximately 1 4 inches or 3 inches high depending on the panel to be produced. The paper is impregnated with resin. The skins and core are fastened together by a contact type adhesive composed of syn- thetic rubber, synthetic resins, and solvents. The Panel -Craft panels are used as structural wall and roof panels. The roof panels are manufactured up to 3' wide by 14' long with a minimum thickness of 3'. The wall panels are maximum 3' x 8' and minimum 1 Y/' thick. TEST RESULTS Report of Test and Evaluation of Aluminum Laminated. Resin Impregnated Paper Honeycomb Sandwich -Panel. At the next increment (only to 46.6 psf) the unit failed.
