Councilman Wright noted that this request for a Variance would create a living
area 5 feet from the neighboring property. He asked what kind of living area
the property owner intedds to build in the existing garage. The City Manager

Councilmen T44ght asked if the neighbors stated whether they.*approve or object
to this projosed construction. Tine City Manager stated tha7'the neighbors

more stringent or at least as stringent in granting a sid@yard variance when
it is proposed to change the use to a living area, than the City is when

Kenneth Johnsen was present at the Council Meeting. Kenneth Johnsen was not
present at the Council Meeting.
