Be: Final Inspection at 6360 - 7th Street N.E., Fridley
Dear Sirs:
A final inspection was conducted on October 31, 1986 of the above address and
the following items were noted which must be corrected before the structure
can be f inaled :
1. Cover the beam in the garage by November 15, 1986.
2. Provide City with copy of verifying survey by November 15, 1986.
3. Secure the upper level back door or provide proper steps to grade by
November 15, 1986.
4. Provide handrail on upper stairs by November 15, 1986.
5. Finish exterior wall under front door by November 15, 1986.
6. It will be in violation of the City Zoning Code to use this dwelling as a
two-family dwelling unit.
7. The door leading to the rear yard from the lower level must be corrected
in one of the following ways:
(a) Raise the sill height to elevation 851 (7 1/2") and eliminate the
well outside the door and regrade the ground to drain away from the
door, OR
(b) Eliminate the door completely, OR
(c) Construct a porch outside the door with the door from the porch to
the rear yarc at elevation 851 or higher.
7his door was not on the original plan, therefore we could not anticipate
this problem any earlier. Please note however that on your building
permit, the 851 minimum opening elevation was stated. This must be
corrected by December 1, 1986.
We will expect the above items to be completed by the scheduled dates when
reinspection will be oonducted to determine compliance. If you have any

REGARDING: Homes in Alio Wall Addition
On June 3, 1988 reinspections were conducted on six homes in the
Alice Wall Addition to determine if doors had been removed to one
of the levels off the foyers. The inspections found that the doors
are removed and the latch and hinge recesses were filled in.
The openings are visible from outside the hares so monitoring
will be easily accomplished.
The addresses °f the homes owned by Rodney Billman, Inc. are
6300, 6310, 6360 and 6380 7th Street and 445 - 63rd Avenue; the
h ane owned by Todd Anderson is 6320 - 7th Street.
