Dear Ms Hintz,
We have enclosed inspection report 145178 and an updated/reduced copy of the
submitted drawings for 1363 5P Avenue NE. Per the Inspections Departments request,
the documents have been updated to reflect the changes made to the plan to date and
noted on the framing inspection.
Plan change 1
ARCH 2
Larger single garage door replaced two garage doors. Installed beam over garage
door - (3) 14 -inch LVL's.
Plan change 2
Arch 2/Arch 3
Installed beam at roofline in sun porch — (2) 12 -inch LVL's. Changed window
elevation on sheet arch 3.
In speaking with the inspection department the existing sheetrock on the garage wall
abutting the living space can remain as is. We have also clarified we can either:
• Install sheetrock on the garage ceilings and walls or
• Install the sheetrock to the underside of roof deck on the outside wall and walls
abutting living areas.
The other issues on the report are addressed as follows:
• We will be addressing the crawl space ventilation.
• The door from the garage to the three -season porch will have spring-loaded
hinges.
We want to thank the department for all their help, and we hope to have the project
finalized by the end of the month.
