THE MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING OF JUNE 12, 1968
The Meeting was called to order by Chairman Ylinen at 7:35 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Minish, Mittelstadt, Ylinen
MEMBERS ABSENT: Ahonen, O'Bannon
OTHERS PRESENT: John Breher, Building Official
MOTION by Minish to approve the minutes of the May 22, 1968 Meeting.
Seconded by Ylinen. Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, the motion carried
unanimously.
1. REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE OF SECTION 45.26 FROM 35 FEET TO 25 FEET OF FRONT YARD, TO
PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF A DETACHED GARAGE ON LOT 8; BLOCK 2, REARRANGEMENT OF
PLYMOUTH ADDITION THE SAME BEING 211 45th AVENUE NORTHEAST FRIDLEY MINNESOTA.
REQUEST BY LLOYD BLASHILL. 211 45th AVENUE NORTHEAST. FRIDLEY. MINNESOTA.
Mr. and Mrs. Blashill and Mr. John Polymeros were present to present Mr. Blashill's
appeal.
MOTION by Mittelstadt to close the Public Hearing.
Seconded by Minish. Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, the motion carried
unanimously.
MOTION by Mittelstadt to accept the variance as the proposed garage is in line
with the neighbors at 201 845th Avenue Northeast. A second garage located as proposed
would not hinder vision from 22 Street.
Seconded by Minish. Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, the motion carried
unanimously.
2. REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE OF GARAGE SETBACK REQUIREMENTS FROM 35 FEET TO 30 FEET ON
.LOTS 14 AND 15, BLOCK 6 CITY VIEW ADDITION ANOKA COUNTY MINNESOTA THE SAME
BEING GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF 57" AVENUE AND OPPOSITE 5th STREET. (REQUEST BY
TERRACNE C. HAIK, 390 57th PLACE NORTHEAST. FRIDLEY. MINNESOTA.
Mr. Terrance C. Haik spoke for his own request.
Mr. Carl Paulson was present but voiced no opposition.
MOTION by Minish to close the Public Hearing.
Seconded by Ylinen. Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, the motion carried
unanimously.

of traffic, and also it is an improvement to the property.
