FloraFPublic Works Director DATE: June 17, 1993 SUBJECT: Booster Station Site For the past 3 months we have been attempting to negotiate the purchase of Outlot B for the 63rd Ave booster station associated with the TCAAP interconnect line. The property is valued on our records as $10,000. We had an appraisal made and identified the value as $12,500. We have offered these figures to the owners and they have refused them, indicating that they desire a selling price in the range of $40,000. As. a means of.expediting the -project, we are sending them a letter of access in which they will give us the authority to access and use the site with the understanding that we will either negotiate a. price or Initiate condemnation proceedings for the property. As a means of securing this agreement, we are offering them $2,500, which will be payable upon signature of the document. It is hoped that through this means we may be able to consummate the purchase of or at least obtain the property for our use and settle the issue as appropriate.
