On orabout July 1, 1975, defendant negligently caused the sanitary sewer to which plaintiffs' residence was connected to be plugged or tanned Gaff by reason of which the flow of sewage therein was impeded and stopped, Causing it to flow into the ground floor damaging the .residence and contents thereof includ- ing household goods, furnishings, clothing, and other personal property, and plaintiffs' were deprived of the use of haat part of the residence for a period of approximately sit weeks all to their damage in the sum of Fur Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty ($4,,850) Dollaxs.
