As you can see, a 2 to 1 slope is called for. The ditch is possibly a foot or so deeper than called for, but this is to ease drainage in the area, and lower the water table in the future. The slope is now pitched at a 2 to 1 rate (even though the bank "looks" stee- per from the top) . I am sure the area will be more pleasing once the bank has been seeded. If you feel the matter deserves more attention, please contact the project inspector, Mr. Bill Harvey of Comstock & Davis, Inc., 786-8240.
