NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Board of Appeals of the City
of Fridley will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at
7:30.::o'clock P.M., Wednesday, July 12, 1967, to consider the following
matter:
A request for a variance from Section 45.25, City
Code of Fridley, Minnesota 1963, Revised December
1964, by waiver of backyard requirement of 25 feet
to 15 feet on Lot 1, Block 2, Meadowlands Addition,
Anoka County, Minnesota, same being 870 - 66th Avenue

The petitioner, Mr. Ward, was present. There were no other interested
people present.
MOTION by Mittelstadt to grant the variance as the affected neigh-
bors have signed a petition stating they have no objection to the
variance. This includes the neighbor behind the property which
would be affected the most. Seconded by Ahonen. Upon a voice vote,
there being no nays, Chairman Ylinen declared the motion carried.

Mr. Johanson was present and explained that the main purpose for
the request for the variance was so that he could save some of
the trees on the lot. He said the .neighbors have no objection
to this, and the house would be set back 35 feet on the side
where there is a neighbor. The setback would be approximately 25
feet on the other side.
