(Request by Lev Wagner, 2434 Orchard Place, New Brighton, Minnesota, 55112). Anyone desiring to be heard with reference to the above matters will be heard at this meeting. Robert E. ROLL CALL MEMBERS RESENT: Ylinen, Mittelstadt, Minish, Ahonen, Saunders (Arrived at 7:38 P.M.) MEMBERS ABSENT: None APPROVAL OF MINUTES, APRIL 19, 1967: MOTION by Mittelstadt, seconded by Minish, to approve the Minutes of the Meeting of April 19, 1967 as received. Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, Chairman Ylinen declared the motion carried. 2. PUBLIC HEARING ON A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE FROM SECTION 45.25 CITY CODE. OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA 1963, REVISED DECEMBER 1964, BY WAIVER OF REAR YARD LOT DEPTH REQUIREMENT OF 25 FEET TO 17 FEET TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF A ONE FAMILY DWELLING ON LOT 5, BLOCK 3, EDGEWATER GARDENS, ANOE:A COUNTY, MINNESOTA SAME BEING 40 RICE CREEK WAY NORTHEAST, FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA, 55432. (REQUEST BY LEV WAGNER, 2434 ORCHARD PIACF. , NW BRIGHTON ,MINNESOTA, 5-5112): Mr. Wagner, the petitioner, was present and also Mr. Gordon Nelson of_53 Rice Creek Way. Mr. Wagner advised the Board that the reason for the request for the variance in the rear yard requirement was.that the house should face Rice Creek Way, and -that the lot narrows so greatly on the easterly end, that the house could not be placed facing Rice Creek Way unless the back yard variance were granted. Mr. Nelson stated that he was at the meeting merely for infor- mation and that he had no objection to the variance, and that some of the neighbors had discussed it and they had no objection either. MOTION by Saunders, seconded by Ahonen, that the Board grant the variance. ,Upon a voice vote, there being no nays, Chairman Ylinen declared the motion carried. • ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, Chairman Ylinen declared the meeting adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
