Because of attic involvement, there is significant structural damage above the second floor. There is also smoke and heat damage throughout the remainder of the dwelling unit. Firefighters from Columbia Heights, New Brighton and Brooklyn Center assisted us with this fire. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries to civilian occupants or firefighters. This fire is under investigation by the Fridley Fire and Police Departments, Anoka County Sheriff Department Criminal Investigation Division and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Division.
